NOTE: TheDC power supply inEX3200 and EX4200switchesdoesnot supportPower
overEthernet(PoE);youcanuseeitheranexternalpowerinjectororanACpowersupply
to supplypower to PoE devicesthat you connect to the switch.
NOTE: ForDC powersupplies,werecommendthatyouprovideatleast7.5A@ 48VDC
anduseafacilitycircuitbreakerratedfor10Aminimum.Doingsoenablesyoutooperate
the switchin any configuration without upgrading the powerinfrastructure,and allows
the switch to function at full capacityusing multiple power supplies.

AC Power Cord Specifications for EX3200 and EX4200 Switches
Detachable AC power cords are supplied with the switch. The coupler is type C13 as
describedbyInternationalElectrotechnicalCommission(IEC)standard60320.Theplug
at the male end of the power cord fits into the power source outlet that is standard for
your geographical location.
CAUTION: TheACpowercordforthe switches is intendedforuse withthatswitchonly
and not for any other use.
NOTE: In North America, AC powercords must not exceed 4.5 meters (approximately
14.75 feet) in length, to comply with National Electrical Code (NEC) Sections 400-8
(NFPA75, 5-2.2) and 210-52 and Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) Section 4-010(3).
The cords supplied with the switch are in compliance.

region.
