6.3 Setup for Windows NT/
Windows 2000
This section describes the procedure for installing the printer driver on Windows NT 4.0/Windows
2000. A printer driver compatible with the printer must be used for the setup.
6.3.1 For Windows NT 4.0/Windows 2000
The PC must be installed with TCP/IP protocol (protocol) and Microsoft TCP/IP
Printing (service). It is necessary to specify at the Windows NT/Windows 2000 server
(workstation), the IP address assigned to the printer using the port settings.

installation method.
Procedure
Install the printer driver for Windows NT 4.0/Windows 2000 by running the
"Setup.exe" program. Click Add Network Port and select the network printer
from Network Neighborhood.

For printing from a Windows 95/98/Me client through a Windows NT/
Windows 2000 server (workstation):
To share the Windows 95/98/Me printer driver as an alternate driver in the
Windows NT/Windows 2000 server (workstation), install the printer driver for
Windows 95/98/Me into the Windows NT/Windows 2000 server (workstation)
by Add Printer Wizard.
