DM355includestwoseparateASPcontrollers.Theprimaryusefortheaudioserialport(ASP)isforaudio
interfacepurposes.TheprimaryaudiomodesthataresupportedbytheASParetheAC97andIISmodes.
Inadditiontotheprimaryaudiomodes,theASPsupportsgeneralserialportreceiveandtransmit
operation,butisnotintendedtobeusedasahigh-speedinterface.TheASPisbackwardcompatiblewith
otherTIASPs.TheASPsupportsthefollowingfeatures:
