C.2.3 Standard System Facilities
In addition to the previously listed features, the system unit provides the following:
■ TOD/NVRAM for clock and identification functions
■ Flash PROM for operating system initialization. The flash PROM is
re-programmable through UNIX and OBP utilities.
■ Single LED for status. If LED is lighted, the system unit has power and some
functional intelligence through OBP.
