Printing: Beyond the Basics
5-18 Phaser 360 Color Printer
Windows 95 users
1.
In the task bar on your screen, click the Start icon; a menu appears.

Move the cursor over Settings; another menu appears.
3.
In the menu, click Printers; the Printers window appears.
4.
In the Printers window, select the Phaser 360 printer icon. From
the File menu, select Properties.
5.
Click the PostScript tab, then click the Advanced button.
6.
Select Use PostScript Level 2 features.
7.
Under Data format, select Binary communications protocol. Do
not make this selection if the printer is connected over a network port.
8.
Click Apply and then OK when Þnished.
9.
Try printing the document again.
UNIX workstation users
Workstation users can use the PhaserPrint for UNIX software to signiÞcantly
increase printer performance when printing bitmapped images; refer to
ÒUNIX workstation softwareÓ on page 3-23 for details.
