Installing the maintenance tray
The disposable maintenance tray (labeled with a blue ÒBÓ) shipped with
your printer must be installed before printing is possible. For more details
on the maintenance tray, see ÒEmptying the waste linerÓ on page 7-8 and
ÒReplacing the maintenance trayÓ on page 7-11.
Note
To avoid printing delays, always keep an extra maintenance tray
available for use in the printer. For ordering information, see
“Printer supplies” on page 10-2.
1.
Open the maintenance tray shipping box and remove the
maintenance tray.
2.
Remove the packing materials from the maintenance tray. Retain
the plastic bag for disposal of the used maintenance tray later.
3.
Open the front cover.
