Print features: overview
Once the appropriate printer driver is installed on your network or
computer, you can the select the following print features from the menus
available in your application software.
■ Paper or transparency printing
■ Tray selection (if you have the Lower Paper Tray Assembly
installed) or manual feeding
■ Print-quality (resolution) modes
■ Color correction modes (refer to page 5-2)
■ Quick Collate for collating multipage documents (requires an
external hard drive) (refer to page 5-9)
■ Check Print for previewing a sample printout before continuing a
print job (refer to page 5-10)
■ Image Smoothing tor improving low-resolution images
Selecting print features
There are three ways to select print features:
From your applications (recommended)
To select print features from Windows
applications, refer to the table on page 4-20; to select print features from
Macintosh applications, refer to page 4-36. Settings from your software
application override the printerÕs front panel default settings.
Through your web browser
Use your web browser to select print features and
view the status of the printer. Refer to the PhaserShare Networking System
Administrator Manual for complete information.
