Note: Br oadcast screening does not work in all service sear ch ranges.
Set All Band On — turns on broadcast screen on each band.
Set All Band Off — turns off broadcast sc reen on each band.
Set Each Band — lets you set broadcast screen only on specific bands you
select. On or Off appears next to each option. Turn the Scroll Control to select
an op ti on then p r ess F to change the setting.
Pager — the scanner skips known pa ging syste m f re quencies.
FM — the scanner skips know n FM frequencies.
UHF TV — the scanner skips know n UHF TV frequencies.
VHF TV — the scanner skips know n VHF TV frequencies.
NOAA WX — the sc anner skips k nown NOAA w eather frequencies.
Band 1-10 — select the custom band where you w ant to scr een out broadcast
sources.
Program Band — br ings y ou to a m enu s etti ng to let you pr ogr am a custom
frequency range for bro adcast scre en. Turn the Scroll Control to sel ect an optio n
then press F to cha ng e the following setting.
To set the custom range of a band, select one and pr ess F to set the limit.
Band 1-10 — select the group where you want to screen out broadcast sources.
Set Lower Limit — enter the lo we r limit of the frequ en cy ra ng e, then
press F to set i t.
Set Upper Limit — enter the upper limit of the frequency range, then
press F to set i t.
