Troubleshooting
If you experie nce difficu lty while in TrunkTracker™ mode, try the f ollowing ste ps.
Scan w on’ t start. You mus t pres s
[SCAN/SEARCH] to scan .
Press [SCAN/SEARCH].
T he squel ch m ig ht ne ed to be
adjusted.
Adjust the squelch threshold. See “Turning
On the Scanner and Setting the Squelch”
on Page 49.
One or more channels m ight be
locked out.
Make sure the ch annels you wa nt to scan
are not locked out.
The antenna might need to be
adjusted.
Check the antenna connection.
Weather sc an does n’ t
work.

The antenna might need to be
adjusted.
Check the antenna connection.
There might not be a NOAA
weather broadcast in your area.
Move to an area with a NOAA weather
broadcast.

The data frequency might be
missing.

scan might be LTR or EDACS.
Set the scanner to scan LTR or EDACS
systems. Re vie w the LTR and EDACS
programming inf ormation at
scanners.uniden.com
No ID’s have b ee n
programmed.
Pro gra m one or more ID’s or use the ID
Sear ch mode .
The ID’s you have stored are
not acti ve.
W ait for the ID’s to b e come active or sca n
a noth er system.
