Entering Text Within A Menu Option
To e nter a le tte r, turn the Scroll Control un ti l the letter, num eral or othe r cha ra c ter
you want ap pe ars. To move the cu rsor to the le ft, pre ss [4]. To mo ve the cur sor to
the ri ght, pr ess [6].
To clear a character, press [.No] twice. To clear all char acters, press [.No] thr ee
time s.
To accept an entry, press or tap the Scroll Control or pres s [EYES].
To cancel an entr y, press [MENU].
Startup Key Operation
You can setup a Star tup Key Configuration so that when you power up, the
scanner can chan ge th e locko ut sta t e f or each syst em o r each site . Navig ate to
Set Startup Key there are differences in the menu structure for Trunked and
Convent io na l systems.
