Service Search
S ervice Se arch lets yo u se lect and se arch t he scanner’s prep rog ra mm ed sea rch
ranges. During service search, t he scan ne r search es st arting wit h the lowest
frequency in the search range you sel ect to the hi ghest fr equency in the range.
T here are tw o ways to do this.
[MENU] Search for ... F
Service Search F
S elect t he service se arch range F
The other ap pr oach is :
F + [SCAN/SEARCH] F
Quick Search? Yes=”E” / No=”.”
Press [.No]
Then t o se lect Service Search F

Special
The scan ne r search es t he service yo u selected, st opping o n any t ransmission it
finds and di splaying the fr equency. Turn the Scroll Control to change the sear ch
di rection. An arrow appears, s howi ng the c ur rent search direction.
To pause searching, press [HOLD/RESUME]. To resume searching, press F +
[SCAN/SEARCH]. Or, press [HOLD/RESUME].
