Notes:
• To unlo ck t he system at st artup, press and hold t he selected st art up key while
you turn on the scanner .

Input a system freq ue ncy using t he nu mb er keys and [.No] key, then press F. If
you are en t ering f requ en cies f or an LTR o r EDACS system, the scanner will als o
prompt y ou to en ter t he LCN for t he f requenc y you just ent ered. LCN’s (logic al
channel numbers) are pr ovided from the same source where you got the other
system in f ormation .
To enter addi ti onal frequencies, press [MENU], then to select New
Frequency. Then repeat the above.
Note: If you select Contr ol Channel Only mode (see “ Setting Control-Channel
Onl y ( Motorol a Systems Onl y) ” on Page 86), you only need to enter the
frequency(s) that can be assigned as the control channel. Most frequency lists
usually indicate which of the frequencies are the control channel frequencies.
Otherwise, you must enter all of the frequencies.
