The AD VANCED MENU is displayed for the following settings.
VIDEO SIGNAL AUTO / NTSC / PAL /
SECAM / 4.43NTS C /
PA L-M / PAL-N / PAL-60
When AUTO is selected, the appropriate video format is automatically
selected depending on the input s ignal. If the image isn’t d isplayed
correctly, select the desired video format manually.
SETUP AUTO Select to change the SETUP m ode automatically.
OFF Select to m ake black lighter.
3.75% / 7.5% Select to make black thicker.
When 7.5% is chosen, the brightness is decreased by the setup cancel
function for the U.S. Choose OFF when the image is dark.
SCART INPUT ON / O F F Choose ON when connecting the projector with a device equipped
with the SCA RT terminal that c an ou tput RGB signal. SCART terminal
is used mainly in E urope. Choose OF F normally. (Available only for
the input signal from the CO M PUTER /COM PONE NT VIDEO IN-1
terminal.)
LAMP WARNING STANDARD W hen the lamp operating time exceeds 3000 hours with LAMP MODE
set to LOW, a warning dialog is displayed.
SHORT TERM When the lamp operating time exceeds 3 800 hours with LAMP M OD E
set to LOW, a warning dialog is displayed.
HIDE OSD OFF Select this option for normal use.
ON The auto power-off dialog, lamp warning dialog, and abnorm al
temperature dialog aren’t displayed.
LAMP 1 TIME RESET
OK
The LAMP 1 operation time is reset to 0.
LAMP 2 TIME RESET
OK
The LAMP 2 operation time is reset to 0.
FILTER TIME RESET
OK
The filter operation time is reset to 0.
RESET ALL
OK
The menu settings are reset to the factory defaults (ex cept the
LANGUAGE, PASSWORD FUNCTION, S CRE EN, and NETWORK
setting s).
• CINEMA MODE can be adjusted only when a TV60, TV50, 480i, 576i or 1080i signal is being displayed.
• When SCART INP UT is set to ON, normal computer signals aren’t projected.
• Use a comm erc ially available SCART-Min
i D-S UB 15-pin cable when connecting this projector w ith an AV device equipped with
the SCART terminal.
• Some AV devices equipped with the SCART term inal aren’t com patible with this projector.
• The RESET ALL process may take some time to complete.
• You cannot carry out RESET A LL for approx. 2 minutes after the lamp switching or the lamp relay operation.
