Loading Documents
The document feeder can hold up to 50 pages and feeds each sheet individually. Use 20 lb (80 g/m

) paper and
always fan the pages before placing them in the document feeder.
Important
• DO NOT pull on the document while it is feeding.
• DO NOT use paper that is curled, wrinkled, folded, ripped, stapled, paper clipped, pasted or taped.
• DO NOT use cardboard or fabric.

• Loading Business Cards and Plastic Cards
• Loading Documents Longer than Letter Size
• Loading Documents Wider than Letter Size
• Loading Documents with Facing Pages
• Loading Clippings, Photos, and Other Important Documents
• Loading Receipts and Other Thin Documents
Loading Standard Size Documents
Make sure documents with ink or correction fluid are completely dry.

Fan the pages well.

Adjust the Document Guides (1) to fit the width of your document.
