DSPdevicesandsupporttools.EachDSPcommercialfamilymemberhasoneofthreeprefixes:TMX,
TMP,orTMS(e.g.,TMX320C6454ZTZ).TexasInstrumentsrecommendstwoofthreepossibleprefix
designatorsforitssupporttools:TMDXandTMDS.Theseprefixesrepresentevolutionarystagesof
productdevelopmentfromengineeringprototypes(TMX/TMDX)throughfullyqualifiedproduction
devices/tools(TMS/TMDS).
