Color recognition range (continued)
Color Recognition wheel
Introduction
Positions on the wheel are given by an angle. As the
angle increases or decreases, the shaded area of the
wheel changes to reflect the scanner sensitivity.
Note: If you increase above 359, the angle is
automatically adjusted to 0.
The table below lists the factory default range and
available ranges.
Marker Scanner
Color Range Default Range Default
Red 0 -100 50 - 70 0 - 226 28 - 90
Yellow 270 - 30 340 - 5 225 - 90 0 - 28
Blue 150 - 270 195 - 230 90 - 0 185 - 236
Green - - 123 - 0 236 - 0
Example
Current red (marker color) range 50 - 70 New red (marker color) range 0 - 70
Problem:
Lets imagine the red edit marker that you are using is not being recognized. Look at the current red
marker setting, it is set to 50 - 70. This setting only covers the higher end of red on the color wheel.
The marker you are using has a lot of orange and yellow in it.
Solution:
Therefore, you will need to change the color range to include orange and yellow recognition. Change
the first number in the range to 0. When the new range is set to 0 – 70, the machine looks for red
that contains yellow and orange.
