How to create a stamp (continued)
Procedure:
First set of measurements:
The first step is the stamp pattern design. The
stamp pattern shown to the left has a scanned
image (the X), and date (9.16.95), and numbering
(PRELIMINARY).
Once the stamp has been designed, it is necessary
to make several sets of measurements. These
measurements are entered on the stamp
create/store screen (custom presets). These sets of
measurements are used by the scanner to create
the stamp.
Note: If you are going to include the date
stamp and or the numbering stamp, ensure to
include enough room for these features.
The first set of measurements tells the scanner
where to begin scanning. These measurements are
called the start position X and Y coordinates.
X1
Distance from the left edge of the paper to the
left edge of the stamp pattern.
Y1
Distance from the top edge of the paper to the
top edge of the stamp pattern.
Second set of measurements:
The second set of measurements tells the scanner
height and width of the stamp pattern. These
measurements are called the end position X and Y
coordinates.
X2
The width of the stamp pattern.
Y2
The height of the stamp pattern.
