Setting the Head Resistor Value:
Caution • Do not set the value higher than that
shown on the printhead. Setting a higher value may
damage the printhead.
1. Press the left black oval to move to the next digit
position.
2. Press the right black oval to increase the value of
the digit.
Caution • This parameter should be changed only
by qualified service personnel.
Initial Value: Factory-set to match the printhead
shipped with your printer.
Default Value: 0500
Range: 0500–1175
This value has been preset at the factory to match the
resistance value of the printhead. It does not need to
be changed unless the printhead is replaced or the
main logic board is replaced.
Before replacing a printhead, look on the printhead
for the label that shows the resistance value (ohm
value).
