Initialize Flash Memory
Caution • Perform this operation only when it is
necessary to erase all previously stored information
from Flash memory.
1. To bypass this function, press NEXT/SAVE.
2. Press the right black oval to select <(6.
If your printer is set to require a password, you are
now prompted to enter it.
3. Enter the password and then press NEXT/SAVE.
The LCD asks ,1,7,$/,=()/$6+.
4. Press the right black oval <(6.
5. The LCD asks $5(<28685(.
6. Press the right black oval <(6 to begin
initialization.
or
7. Press the left black oval 12 to cancel the request
and return to the ,1,7,$/,=()/$6+ prompt.
