CHAPTER 23
Snapshot
23.1 Overview
The chapter covers network and system storage management. It also discusses various web
applications and services.
23.2 Snapshot
The Snapshot option offers functions to manage snapshot activities such as taking a snapshot,
rolling back, cloning, deleting, or viewing the status of a snapshot.
The Snapshot option can only be applied to the whole file system or the volume. It cannot be
applied to the specific shared folders. Click Configuration > Storage Configuration > Snapshot
to display the following screen.

The following table describes the labels on this screen.
In the Modify column, Rollback and Delete are displayed.

COLUMN NAME DESCRIPTION
Take Snapshot Click Take Snapshot to take a snapshot
Filter Click the drop-down menu select a viewing filter for the snapshot listing.
Total Displays the total number of listed snapshots.
Clone Click Clone to clone the file system or the volume
Rollback Click Rollback to rollback the snapshot of a file system or the snapshot of a
volume.
Delete Click Delete to delete the snapshot of a file system or the snapshot of a volume.
Name Displays the name of the snapshot.
Used (MB) Displays the amount of snapshot space being used.
Refer (GB) Displays the referred capacity of the file system or volume.
Created Time Displays the specified time in which the snapshot was created.
