iSCSI
30.1 Overview
The chapter provides information for the Internet SCSI (iSCSI) in Configuration.
30.2 iSCSI Configuration
The Internet SCSI tab is used to setup iSCSI entity name for block-based access. iSCSI is a protocol
standard that allows the consolidation of storage data. iSCSI allows the system to act like a storage
area network (SAN) over an existing Ethernet network. Specifically, it exports disk devices over an
Ethernet network that iSCSI clients (called initiators) can attach to and mount to.
The Internet SCSI menu consists of the following tabs: iSCSI Entity and iSCSI Node.
30.3 The iSCSI Entity Screen
This tab can modify iSCSI entity name.
Click Configuration > Application Configuration > iSCSI > iSCSI Entity to display the
following screen.
