31.3 Amazon S3
The Amazon S3 tab is used to setup a backup task to the Amazon S3 service. Before using the
service, you must have an Amazon S3 account first.
There is no limit to the number Amazon S3 tasks on your device. If you experience slow system
performance, reduce the number of Amazon S3 tasks. Click Configuration > Application
Configuration > Backup > Amazon S3 to display the following screen.

LABELS DESCRIPTION
Schedule setting
Hourly
Every Click the drop-down menu to set a schedule on an hourly interval.
Daily
At o’clock Click the drop-down menu to set a schedule on a specific 24 hour period.
Every Enter a variable (x) to initiate the schedule every X day(s).
Weekly
At o’clock Click the drop-down menu to set a schedule on a specific 24 hour period.
Every Enter a variable (x) to initiate the schedule every X week(s).
Days Select the days to initiate the schedule.
Back Click Back to return to the previous screen.
OK Click OK to save the changes.
Reset Click Reset to discard the changes.
LABELS DESCRIPTION
Amazon S3 Task
Create Click Create button to add a backup task to Amazon S3 service.
Task name Displays the name of a task.
Type Displays the type of backup task: upload or download
ZFS Displays the local ZFS name.
Folder Displays the name of the local folder name.
S3 bucket Displays the name of the Amazon S3 bucket.
S3 folder Displays the Amazon S3 target folder.
Status Displays the current status of a task.
