Receiving Faxes
Canceling Receiving
Follow this procedure if you want to stop receiving a fax before reception is
completed.
1. Press Stop.
❑ The MultiPASS asks you to confirm that you want to cancel.
2. Press T to cancel receiving.
❑ Receiving is not canceled until you press T.
❑ If you change your mind and want to continue receiving, press #.
● The MultiPASS memory can store up to approximately 42 pages (based on
ITU-T/CCITT No. 1 Chart, standard mode).
● You can set the MultiPASS not to store faxes in memory if a problem occurs
during reception. You can only do this through the operation panel. For
more information about setting the MultiPASS to store faxes in memory, see
page 5-24 in the online Standalone Fax Manual.
● Once the pages are printed, they are deleted from memory.
● If the memory becomes full, you will not be able to receive the remaining
pages. Contact the other party and request that they send the fax again.
