Additional Mass Storage Devices
Removable media bays for ProLiant 1850R servers
The Compaq ProLiant 1850R server can house up to 2 non hot-plug hard drives
or various other devices in the removable media bays.
Two half height removable media bays, can support the following
removable media devices:
1.6-inch or 1-inch form factor non hot-plug drive
DAT or SLR half-height tape drive
DLT full height tape drive
Additional 1.6-inch or 1-inch height IDE CD-ROM
2 by 1-inch Wide Ultra2 SCSI drive
The ProLiant 1850R server also ships with a preinstalled IDE
CD-ROM drive
A preinstalled 1.44-MB diskette drive

Hot-Plug hard drives for ProLiant 1850R Servers
The Compaq ProLiant 1850R server with a wide ultra cage can
house up to three hot-plug hard drives, three 1-inch or two
1.6- inch form factor hot-plug hard drives.
The Compaq ProLiant 1850R server with a Wide Ultra2 SCSI drive
cage can house up to four 1-inch hot-plug drives.
