6. Loosen the three thumbscrews on the front of the unit which secure the
server cover.

Slide the server cover toward the rear of the unit about 1 inch (2.5 cm),
then remove the cover.

Installing a Processor and Processor
Power Module
To install a processor on the System Board, refer to the label inside the server
cover, refer to the processor option kit, or follow the procedures below. This
procedure can be used to install a processor and Processor Power Module in
either socket 1 or 2. The figure below illustrates the processor sockets and the
Processor Power Module slots.
