SCSI Cable Connectors
To help identify the SCSI cables required for ProLiant 1850R server
installation, refer to the illustrations below. Keep in mind these characteristics
of SCSI cables:
External SCSI cables have a round wire with securable connectors.
Internal SCSI cables have a flat ribbon wire with push-on connectors.
Compaq SCSI cables are keyed so they cannot be installed incorrectly.
Fast-Wide SCSI-2 (wide SCSI) internal ribbon cables are physically
smaller (narrower) than the Fast-SCSI-2 (standard SCSI) cables.
