Slot location 4 is a Shared PCI/ISA slot for access to either the PCI bus or the
ISA bus. Slots 1, 2, and 3 are PCI slots for access to the 33-MHz PCI bus. They
provide data transfer rates up to 133-Mb/s. The PCI bus provides peripheral
transactions at a system clock speed of 33-MHz.
Disk Controller
The Dual Channel Integrated Wide-Ultra SCSI-3 controller utilizes two
independent SCSI channels (Ports). Port 1 is connected to the internal
hot-plug drive cage. Port 2 can either be connected to the devices in the
removable media bay or to the external Wide-Ultra SCSI-3 port.
Dual Channel Integrated Wide-Ultra SCSI-3 controller on the PCI local
bus. The controller is capable of handling up to three hot-plug hard
drives and two non-hot-plug SCSI devices without utilizing an expansion
slot. This controller performs at a maximum rate of 40 megabytes per
second (MB/s).
Doubles Fast-Wide SCSI-2 transfer rates from 20-MB to 40-MB per
channel on each channel.
Optional controller boards available for expanding storage capacity.
Optional boards are the SMART-2SL Array Controller, the SMART-
2DH Array Controller, the SMART-2/P Array Controller, and the Wide-
Ultra SCSI-3 Controller.
