USING THE WEB MANAGEMENT INTERFACE
To display the ARP cache:
1. Log on to the device using a valid user name and password for read-only or read-write access. The System
configuration panel is displayed.
2. Click on the plus sign next to Monitor in the tree view to display the list of configuration options.
3. Select the ARP Cache
link to display the ARP cache.
This display shows the following information.

This Field... Displays...
Node The IP address of the device.
MAC Address The MAC address of the device.
Type The type, which is always Dynamic on HP switches. The device
learns dynamic entries from incoming packet.
Age The number of minutes the entry has remained unused. If this value
reaches the ARP aging period, the entry is removed from the cache.
Port The port on which the entry was learned.
Displaying IP Traffic Statistics
To display IP traffic statistics on a switch, use one of the following methods.
USING THE CLI
To display IP traffic statistics, enter the following command at any CLI level:
HP6208# show ip traffic
