After Dial-Up Networking installation has been completed, do not reboot
your computer when prompted to do so. Instead, click Do Not Restart and
then reapply the latest Service Pack that was installed on your computer.
After the Service Pack has been reapplied, your IBM International ISDN PC Card
is ready to use with communication software that is not CAPI-2.0 compliant. You
will also find a Windows Help file for the CAPI Port Drivers on your Windows
NT 4.0 Workstation desktop.
Installing RAS and adding the CAPI Ports to RAS
To install RAS and add the CAPI Ports, do the following:
1. If you receive the following window that tells you that Dial-Up Networking is
uninstalled on your system then click Install to add it to your system. Follow
any on screen instructions you get. Ensure that as a minimum you install the
TCP/IP protocol.
2. At the end of of the installation process the Remote Access Setup will be
invoked which displays a RAS capable device. Click the OK button.
3. Now click on the Add... button to install the next RAS capable device. In the
following window click OK. Repeat this procedure until you do not have any
RAS capable device to add. Finally Continue.
