4. When prompted to restart your computer, click Yes.
Note: If you encounter any problems with your application software after
entering an MSN, remove the MSN settings in the same way as described
above, then enter MSN settings in any application software that requires
them!
Windows 2000
Note: Throughout this chapter it is assumed that you are logged on to a
Windows 2000 system as Administrator. If you are not logged on as
Administrator, you might not be able to perform all the steps outlined in
this chapter.
The following section describes how to add or change the configuration of
Multiple Subscriber Numbers in the NDIS WAN CAPI device driver. Although
MSNs can be configured in the device driver, you should enter MSN settings only
in the applications that require them. You must have the NDIS CAPI WAN device
drivers installed in order to perform the following steps. Note that MSNs are a
feature of the Euro-ISDN (DSS1) switch protocol only!
1. Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel. Double-click the System icon. Click
the Hardware tab, then the Device Manager button. Click the plus sign to
expand the Network adapters node, then right-click the IBM International
ISDN PC Card. In the context menu, select the Properties command.
