Installing cFos in Windows NT 4.
Throughout this section it is assumed that you are logged on to the Windows NT
4.0 Workstation system as Administrator. If you are not logged on as
Administrator, you may not be able to perform all the steps outlined in this
chapter.
To use the IBM International ISDN PC Card with application software that is not
CAPI 2.0-compliant, IBM recommends that you download, purchase and use
cFos. For further assistance with cFos, see one of the following Web sites:
Note: Before installing the cFos drivers, please read “Prerequisites for the cFos
installation and additional tips” on page 68 .
To install cFos in WIndows NT 4.0, do the following:
1. On the CD you will find version 4.14 of cFos in the directory
\EXTRAS\cFos\NT4W2K. Alternatively you can download the latest
package from http://www.cfos.com. Double-click on the cfos-nt-2000-xp-
v414.exe icon in odert to launch the cFos setup program.
2. If you install cFos completely new the first dialog box will inform you that it is
about to install cFos. Click on the Install button. Click on the Change button if
you want to have cFos installed in a directory other than C:\cFosNT.
