Set Rm Interface Command Baud Rate (+IPR)
Syntax
+IPR[=<rate>|?|=?]
Description
Specifies the baud rate at which the modem communicates
with the DTE over the Data port of the Rm interface (see
Figure 5-2 on page 5-7). If
<rate> is not specified, <rate> is
set to the power-on/reset default value. When the modem is
power-cycled, the Data port baud rate is reset to its power-up
baud rate stored in non-volatile memory.
The
+IPR command does not affect the modem’s call mode (set
by the
$QCMODE command, as described on page 6-69).
? syntax queries for the current setting of the Data port baud
rate.
=? syntax queries for the acceptable range the <rate>
parameter can be set to.
Note
The modem does not support automatic baud rate detection.
Result Condition
OK Parameters are recognized and
supported, and have been processed
correctly.
ERROR A parameter value was out of range
or a syntax error was encountered.
