To remove a DIMM
CAUTION
Handling a DIMM without wearing a grounded, antistatic device might
damage the DIMM. Do not touch the contacts on the side of the DIMM.
1 Switch off the power (220V product only), and unplug the product.
2 Open the print cartridge door and the left side panel.
3 To unlock the cam latches, press them outward (A). Grasp the
DIMM on the edge, gently pull straight out, and remove the DIMM
from the printer (B).
Note
Store the DIMM in an antistatic bag.
4 Close the left side panel and the print cartridge door.
5 Plug the product back in. If you have a 220V product, switch on the
power.
