HP (Hewlett-Packard) 5200 Printer User Manual

Macintosh printing-system software
The HP LaserJet 5200 printing system for Macintosh is composed of the Print Center (Mac OS X
V10.2.8) or the Printer Setup Utility (Mac OS X V10.3 or later) and HP-created postscript printer definition
(PPD) and printer dialog extension (PDE) files. The driver uses these files to determine the features and
postscript commands that the device supports. Bidirectional support in Bonjour/Rendezvous
connections supports autoconfiguration of the software. The following are components that can be
installed:
The HP LaserJet Installer for Mac OS X V10.2.8 or later
LIBRARY/PRINTERS/PPDS/CONTENTS/RESOURCES/LANGUAGE.LPROJ (for Mac OS X)
The HP Printer Selector (for Mac OS X V10.2.8 or later)
