When Installation Fails
When an error occurs during installation, or the test page is not printed properly,
see "Uninstalling the CAPT Software," on p. 3-69 or follow this procedure.

Confirm that the computer is connected to the printer with the
USB cable and the printer is turned ON.

Select [Start] menu ➞ [Settings] ➞ [Control Panel], then
double-click the [System] icon.
For Windows XP Professional: Click [Start] menu ➞ [Control Panel] ➞ [System].
For Windows XP Home Edition: Click [Start] menu ➞ [Control Panel] ➞ [Printers
and Other Hardware] ➞ [System].
