IMPORTANT

For loading paper, see "Printing from the Paper Cassette," on p. 2-38.

When loading paper for the first time after installing the paper feeder, be sure to
turn the printer ON first.
Removing the 250-sheet Paper Feeder
Remove the paper feeder in the following procedure.
WARNING
Be sure that the printer is turned OFF, the power cord is unplugged, and all
interface cables and power cord are disconnected from the printer before
removing the paper feeder. Otherwise, it may damage the power cord or
interface cables and result in a fire or electrical shock.
IMPORTANT
Remove the paper feeder when you are going to move or repair the printer.

Turn OFF the printer and unplug the cord from the AC outlet.

Remove all interface cables and the power cord.

Lift the printer and remove it from the paper feeder.

Move the paper feeder.

Return the printer to the place of installation.

Connect the power cord and all interface cables.
7
Connect the power plug into the AC outlet.
