Confirming the Package Contents
Confirm that the following items are contained in the package before installing the
250-sheet paper feeder. If an item is missing or damaged, please contact your
Canon dealer.
Installing the 250-sheet Paper Feeder
Install the 250-sheet paper feeder under the printer in the following procedure.
WARNING
Be sure that the printer is OFF, the power cord is unplugged, and all interface
cables and power cord are disconnected from the printer before installing the
250-sheet paper feeder. Otherwise, it may damage the power cord or interface
cables and result in a fire or electrical shock.
IMPORTANT
•
Do not touch the connector or rollers on the paper feeder. It may result in a malfunction or
deterioration in print quality.
•
The 250-sheet paper feeder is installed with tapes and packing materials in order to
protect the feeder from excessive vibrations and shocks during delivery. Be sure to
remove the packing materials before using the paper feeder.
•
Save the packing materials so that they can be used when the 250-sheet paper feeder
has to be moved or repaired.
