When [User-level access control] is selected in Step 7 of "Network Settings" (See
p. 3-59), click [Add] and select the users that can use the printer.

Do not enter a space or special characters in [Share Name].

Click [OK].
The printer icon changes to indicate the sharing state.
Windows 2000/XP

■ Network Settings

For Windows 2000: Click [Start] menu ➞ [Settings] ➞
[Network and Dial-up Connections].
For Windows XP: Click [Start] menu ➞ [Control Panel] ➞
[Network and Internet Connections] ➞ [Network
Connections].
For Windows 2000, the [Network and Dial-up Connections] folder will open.
For Windows XP, the [Network Connections] folder will open.
