NetSpot Console
The NetSpot Console included on the accompanying CD-ROM that contains the
CAPT software is utility software capable of managing printer connected to a
network. This software enables network administrators to set or view various types
of information about printer using a web browser, such as list or map display of
printers, detailed protocol settings, display and notification of printer status, and job
manipulations.
NOTE
The utility software of the NetSpot Console may not included depending on the CD-ROM
being used. In this case, access the web site of Canon and download to them.
System Requirements
The following system environment is required to use NetSpot Console.

- Microsoft Windows 98/Me
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Server/Professional
- Microsoft Windows XP Professional/Home Edition
• Web server
- NetSpot Console-exclusive Web server (Automatically installed on the NetSpot
Console installation.)
• Computer
- IBM PC or its compatible machine
• Hard disk
- 40MB or more of free space, and in the system folder, 6MB or more of free space
(Creating a device map requires, in addition to the above, enough free space to save
the background image of the device map in the folder on which NetSpot Console is
installed.)
