10. Note the status of the Local Area Connection, as shown below.

~ If the status is “disabled,” contact your network administrator.
~ If the status is “enabled,” right click on the Local Area Connection label
and select
Properties from the pop-up menu.
The
Local Area Connection Properties Window appears:

11. Ensure that the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) check box is checked.
12. Click the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) line to highlight it, then click the Properties
button to display the
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties Dialog.
