When you install the front carriage guide shaft, tighten the screws while pushing the shaff toward the
platen.
When you assemble the caniage mechanism, perform the folowikg adjustments:
l Carriage timrig belt tension adjustment (described in Section 4.1.2)
l Cardage guide shaftpara/Msm adjustment (d&scribed in Section 4.1.5)
l Platen gap motor value (platen gap) adjustment (described in Section 4.1.7)
l Bk?ctiona/ otintina adiustment ldescdbed in Section 4.1.8)
