Management Software
PhaserLink Printer Management Software is a printer administration and support
tool using World Wide Web technology. With PhaserLink Printer Management
Software, you can access printer status and manage your printer over the network
using a web browser. PhaserLink Printer Management Software gives you the
following capabilities:
■ You can receive printer status and manage your printer over the network
using a standard web browser.
■ You can define a link to your local web server’s support page.
■ You can access on-line manuals and technical support information by using
built-in links to the Tektronix web site.
PhaserLink Printer Management Software provides an easy-to-use, consistent
interface that you can use to perform most of the configuration tasks described
throughout this manual.
System requirements
PhaserLink Printer Management Software provides printer status and printer
management, independent of network servers and operating systems.
PhaserLink Printer Management Software requires only a World Wide Web browser
and a TCP/IP connection between the printer and the network. (TCP/IP and HTTP
must be enabled in the printer.)
Multiple language support
PhaserLink Printer Management Software is displayed in the language selected from
the printer’s front panel. See your printer’s user documentation for information on
selecting a language.
