Setting the TX/RX Start Speed
If you find the telephone line in poor condition, and it takes a long time for the
machine to start a transaction, follow the procedure below to change the
transmission speed for all documents you send and receive.
NOTE
The default setting is ‘06 33600bps’ for either <TX START SPEED> and <RX START
SPEED>.

Press [Additional Functions].
The ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS menu appears.

Press [F3] (▼) or [F4] (▲) to highlight <03 FAX SETTINGS> ➞
press [OK].
Each time you press (▼) or (▲), the next or previous menu option
becomes highlighted.
The FAX SETTINGS menu appears.

Press [F3] (▼) or [F4] (▲) to highlight <01 USER SETTINGS> ➞
press [OK].
