Defining SNTP Interface Settings Using CLI Commands
The following table summarizes the equivalent CLI commands for setting fields displayed in the
SNTP Broadcast Interface Table
.
NOTE: When defining Anycast or Broadcast interfaces, at least one IP address must be defined.
The following is an example of the CLI commands for configuring SNTP interfaces:

sntp client enable E
nables the Simple Network Time Protocol
(SNTP) broadcast and anycast client on an
interface.
show sntp
configuration
Displays the SNTP configuration.
Console (config)# interface ethernet g1
Console (config-if)# sntp client enable
Console (config-if)# end
Console# show sntp configuration
Polling interval: 7200 seconds.
MD5 Authentication keys: 8, 9
Authentication is required for synchronization.
Trusted Keys: 8,9
Unicast Clients Polling: Enabled.
