Wild Card Mask
— The Destination IP address wildcard mask. Select either
Match DSCP
or
Match IP Precedence
:
Match DSCP
— Matches the packet DSCP value to the ACE. Either the DSCP value or the
IP Precedence value is used to match packets to ACLs.
Match IP Precedence
— Matches the packet IP Precedence value to the ACE. Either the
DSCP value or the IP Precedence value is used to match packets to ACLs.
Action
— The ACL forwarding action. Possible values are:
Permit
— Forwards packets which meet the ACL criteria.
Deny
— Drops packets which meet the ACL criteria.
Shutdown
— Drops packet that meets the ACL criteria, and disables the port to which the
packet was addressed. Ports are reactivated from the
Ports Configuration
page, see "Defining
Port Configuration."
To see all the ACEs attached to the ACE, click
Show All
.
Adding an IP based ACL

Add ACE to IP Based ACL
page

Add
to display the

page.

ACL Name

New ACE Priority
check box and define all of the fields in the page.

Apply Changes

The IP based ACL is defined, and the device is updated.
