Interface Parameters
Page
OSPF Interface
— IP address of the OSPF interface.
Priority
— The interface priority. Value 0 indicates that the device cannot be defined as the
designated device on the current network. If more than one device has the same priority, the router
ID is used. The possible field value range is 0-255. The default is 1.
Area ID
— The OSPF interface area ID.
Admin Status
— Enables or disables the OSPF process.
Hello Interval
— Time interval in seconds between Hello packets. All devices attached to a
common network must have the same Hello interval. The possible field value range is 1-65535. The
default is 10 seconds.
Dead Interval
— Time interval in seconds before the router times out after Hello packets have not
been detected. The value must be a multiple of the
Hello Interval
value. All routers attached to a
common network must have a value specified for this parameter. The possible field value range is
1-2147483647. The default is four times the
Hello Interval
value.
Retransmit Interval (0-3600)
— Time interval in seconds between link-state advertisement (LSA)
retransmissions for adjacencies belonging to the interface. The value must be greater than the
expected round-trip delay between any two routers on the attached network. The default is 5
seconds.
Transmit Delay (0-3600)
— Estimated amount of time in seconds required to send a link-state
update packet on the interface. LSAs in the update packet have their age incremented by this
amount before transmission. The default value is 1 second.
