Result
The Thor VM2 continues to run and follows the Auto-On power scheme with timers reset at the time power
was connected.
UPS Mode
This mode is selected any time external power is not present, regardless of selected Power Configuration. Ignition
Input is ignored.
Thor VM2 is Off
Conditions
• The Thor VM2 is Off and the power button is pressed the Thor VM2 and both the following conditions are
met:
• UPS power is over 10% capacity
• CPU temperature is over 20ºC
Result
The Thor VM2 boots and follows the UPS power scheme with power management timers reset at boot up.
Conditions
The Thor VM2 is Off and the power button is pressed the Thor VM2 and at least one of the following condi-
tions are met:
• UPS power is under 10% capacity
• CPU temperature is under 20ºC
Results
The Thor VM2 remains Off.
Thor VM2 is On
Conditions
The Thor VM2 is On and external power is removed, such as:
• Thor VM2 is removed from a powered dock (Dock power switch On)
• Thor VM2 is mounted to a dock and truck power is removed from the dock
• Thor VM2 is mounted to a dock and the dock power switch is turned Off
Result
The Thor VM2 continues to run and follows the UPS mode power scheme with power management timers
reset at the time of power removal. UPS charging is disabled.
