variousperipherals(setupregisters,serviceinterrupts,etc.).Whilethisassignmentispurelyamatterof
softwareconvention,duringanemulationhalt,thedevicemustknowwhichperipheralsareassociated
withthehaltingprocessor,sothatonlythosemodulesreceivethesuspendsignal.Thisallowsperipherals
associatedwiththeother(unhalted)processortocontinuenormaloperation.Theemulatorsuspend
sourceregister(SUSPSRC)indicatestheemulationsuspendsourceforthoseperipheralswhichsupport
emulationsuspend.
WhentheassociatedSUSPSRCbitis0,theARMemulatorcontrolstheperipheral’semulationsuspend
signalandwhenitissetto1,theDSPemulatorcontrolstheperipheral'semulationsuspendsignal.See
