Connect the crossbar cables in their original positions by referring to the notes that
you made before the start of maintenance.

Use the DR of the system board on a physical partition for active/cold maintenance.

9.5.1 Installing a crossbar unit
1.
Open the eject levers of the crossbar unit.
2.
Support t h e crossbar un it from below with one h and and t hen carefully insert
it into the mounting fra me.
3.
Close the eject levers a nd t ighten the tw o screws securing the c rossbar unit.
9.5.2 Restoring the chassis
1.
Connect all the crossbar cables to the cro ssbar unit.
2.
Lift the cable support to f ix it.

9.6 Restoring the System
This section describes the procedure for restoring the system after installing the
crossbar units. The restoration procedure differs depending on the maintenance type
as follows:

Inactive/Cold maintenance

System-stopped maintenance
9.6.1 Active/Cold maintenance
1.
Connect all the po wer c ords to the PSU backplane unit of t he chassis
requiring maintenance.
