10.5 Installing a Power Supply Unit
This section describes the procedure for installing a power supply unit.
10.5.1 Installing a power supply unit
1.
Support the power supply unit from b elow with one hand a nd i nsert it
carefully into its slot.
2.
Firmly pu sh the p o w er supply unit into its mounting p o sition.
3.
Close the lever a nd t hen tighten the sc rews.
4.
Connect the power c ord s to the power supply unit.
10.5.2 Restoring the chassis
1.
Connect the power c ord s to the PSU b a ckplane unit of the ch assis requiring
maintenance.
2.
Confirm th at the LE D (green) on the po wer supply unit is blinking.
3.
Install the front cover.

10.6 Restoring the System
This section describes the procedure for restoring the system after installing a power
supply unit. The restoration procedure differs depending on the maintenance type as
